204. L’Atelier Extension de La Racine ER13

Sponsored by Cigar Journal.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and smooth with slightly protruding veins.

Construction: A medium soft construction with a little uneven feel.

Cold draw: Spicy cedarwood.

1st third: Starts with a smooth creamy milk chocolate sweetness and a light spicy note of cinnamon in the background.

2nd third: Keeps the same.

The burn: Burns steady and a little wonky with a white stable and firm ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white creamy smoke with a cool feeling on the tounge and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps the same smooth flavours but with a dry cedarwood after taste.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. A good afternoon cigar.

Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
