143. Romeo y Julieta Medallas de Oro 1875 Reserve Churchill (USA)

Gifted by a friend.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm but still a little soft spots.

Cold draw: Hay.

1st third: Starts of with a sandalwood tone, some dryness and a slight peppery note.

2nd third: Keeps the flavours but smoothness out.

The burn: Burns quite quick, a little wonky and white firm and stable ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a cool feeling on the tounge.

3rd third: No changes.

Conclusion: Interesting to try a non Cuban Romeo y Julieta, sadly it wasn’t super interesting so in a way they nailed it. Medium to mild body some spicy notes but nothing to dramatic, kept a smooth sandalwood note all the way through.

Result: In my book this is an 87 point cigar.
