Construction: Medium firm and even when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Light cedarwood and cacao notes.
1st third: Starts of with a medium roasted coffee (not steaming hot but a little hotter than room temperature), fresh and spicy cedarwood, creamy Swiss milk chocolate, very smooth creamy flavours over all.
2nd third: Keeps the creamy smooth flavours flowing with ease, some notes of toasted bread and some slight pink pepper spice in the background.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: A “burnt sugar” caramel note gets added to the mix.
Duration: 17:40-19:10, 1h 30min
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile, with a medium long aftertaste. Very enjoyable creamy and smooth feeling in the mouth. It’s not overly complex but it delivers what’s promised with a undisclosed blend, makes it definitely worth picking up. I hope I can pick one more up to enjoy with some old tawny port wine.
Result: In my book this is an 92 point cigar.
