Wrapper: Milk chocolate brown, silky smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Cedarwood.
1st third: Starts with buttered toasted bread, dried apricots, nutmeg, natural hazelnuts, foamed milk and light wood note in the background.
2nd third: Keeps on the same level.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: Some notes of black pepper and cedarwood gets added to the mix.
Duration: 20:50-22:10, 1h 20min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. While it kept well balanced for the majority of the experience it wasn’t a distraction to get the spice get added to the end, it was quite refreshing giving me a fun surprise instead.
Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
