Gifted by Gajane Cigars.
Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.
Information:
Wrapper: Ecuador Habano Colorado
Binder: Mexico
Filler: Nicaragua & Honduras
Size: 4×52, Short Robusto.
Wrapper: Coffee bean, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Light wood note.
1st third: Starts with a toasted brioche bun, dried fruits, anise and cedarwood.
2nd third: Keeps a consistent flavour profile, with added white pepper spice on the lips and the back on the mouth.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a hot feeling on the tongue and a medium tight draw.
3rd third: No changes from part 2.
Duration: 19:20-20:00, 40min.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium to full strength profile. Not really a cigar that fits my palette, but fun that I have tried it at least. I can understand how people may like it.
Result: In my book this is an 88 point cigar.
