567. Caldwell Lost & Found Pepper Cream Soda Corona Gorda

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Brazil Arapiaca
Binder: Dominican Republic Piloto
Filler: Dominican Republic Piloto, Cuban seed HVA & Habano

Size: 5×46, Corona Gorda.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily, smooth with small veins.

Construction: Fairly firm and even when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Hay.

1st third: Starts with a smooth creamy note, with a hint of white pepper spice in the background.

2nd third: No changes.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: The pepper note is more pronounced in the final part, while still keeping a very creamy finish overall.

Duration: 19:00-20:00, 1h.

Conclusion: A mild bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
