398. Casdagli Daughters of the Wind Rabicano

Gifted by Jeremy Casdagli, owner of Casdagli Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Ecuadorian.
Binder: Costa Rica.
Filler: Dominican Republic & Peru.

Size: 7.3×50/57, Salomones.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light caramel sweetness.

1st third: Starts with a light smooth milk chocolate note, butterscotch and sweet pastry.

2nd third: Keeps it’s flavours like a pain au chocolate with a butterscotch toffee sweet note resting on the tongue.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable crispy white ash.

Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps it’s smooth flavours from previous parts in a well balanced tone.

Duration: 19:55-21:25, 1h 30min.

Conclusion: A mild to medium bodied cigar with a mild strength profile. Hard to let go, very enjoyable.

Result: In my book this is an 94 point cigar.
