Gifted by Jean-Michel Louis, Brand Ambassador and In-house Belgian at De Los Reyes Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Shade Claro Connecticut.
Binder: Dominican Blend.
Filler: Dominican Criollo, Olor & Piloto Cubano.

Size: 5×50, Robusto.

Wrapper: Nutty, silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light hay note.

1st third: Starts with a sweet biscuit note, light peppery note in the back of the mouth and a light marzipan aftertaste.

2nd third: Keeps it’s previous flavours with emphasis on the marzipan stepping forward.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable whiteish ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Gets a little bit more bready towards the end, otherwise there’s still notes of pepper on the lips and marzipan sweetness.

Duration: 18:35-19:25, 50 min.

Conclusion: A mild bodied cigar with a mild strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
