Wrapper: Milk chocolate brown, silky smooth and oily feel with small veins.
Construction: Fairly firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Woody.
1st third: Starts with seed covered rye hard bread, chocolate muffins, medium roasted ground coffee and a touch of cinnamon bark.
2nd third: While quite unchanged it opens up with light white pepper spice and roasted chestnuts.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: Chocolate mousse is a prominent flavour initially while still retaining similar notes to before, but in the form of fruit cake, cinnamon and oakwood.
Duration: 15:30-17:00, 1h 30min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Fabulous complexity, good harmony and balanced flavours. I wouldn’t mind a box of these.
Result: In my book this is a 93 point cigar.
