Wrapper: Dark chocolate brown, oily texture feel with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Dried fruits that reminds me of plums and apricots, there are also notes barnyard.
1st third: Starts with a toasted brioche bun, salted toffee, candied almonds and oakwood.
2nd third: Gets notes of olive oil and white pepper spice lightly in the background added.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: In the final third the spice level increases and notes cacao powder and earthiness is the most prominent flavours.
Duration: 13:40-15:10, 1h 30min.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a full strength profile. Complex flavours, that sadly gets dismissed in the final third.
Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
