Filler: Nicaraguan Triple Ligero

Size: 7×38, Lancero

Wrapper: Coffee bean, oily with a little rough texture with tiny veins.

Construction: Fairly firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Earthy sweetness.

1st third: Starts with rich dark chocolate, shortbread, whipped cream and sandalwood.

2nd third: Getting notes of ground medium roasted coffee added.

Burn: Burns sharp, with a crisp and stable white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and with a light draw.

3rd third: The only addition is a light pepper note in the background, but nothing that is interupting the previous flavours.

Duration: 19:00-19:55, 55 min.

Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Overall a fantastic experience, I already loved the Robusto and Minutos from previous years so this was a pleasant thing to behold the blend performing greatly in the Lancero format too.

Result: In my book this is an 92 point cigar.
