Filler: Brazilian, Nicaraguan & Dominican Republic
Limited production of 32’000 cigars in boxes of 8 cigars each (4000 boxes).
Size: 9×48, Gran Toro.
Wrapper: Coffee bean, oily and smooth with small veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Hay and cacao.
1st third: Starts with minerals, dark rich 80% dark chocolate, earthy sweetness, nutmeg and ginger.
2nd third: The previous flavours mellow out to a creamy nougat, creamy cappuccino and a creamy milk chocolate with a touch of oakwood in the background.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable crisp white ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.
3rd third: It backtracks to the same flavours from part 1.
Duration: 20:45-22:30, 1h 45min.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 93 point cigar.
