Size: 4×60, Sumo Short Robusto.
Wrapper: Coffee bean, oily but rough texture with small veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Cedarwood.
1st third: Starts with a caramel sweetness, medium roasted coffee, white pepper spice and cedarwood.
2nd third: No changes.
Burn: Burns uneven with a firm and stable whiteish ash.
Smoke: Very voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: Gets a definite pepper kick towards the end, but while still keeping the previous flavours.
Duration: 17:15-18:15, 1h.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a full strength profile. I would say overall a great cigar, would perhaps do without the pepper intensity towards the end, but still good.
Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
