Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.
Information: The Classic Cigar: Havana Blend has been perfected using a proprietary binder and filler with twenty different tweakings of the blend to get it just right. With a San Andres Wrapper, The Classic Cigar: Havana Blend is a box-pressed and made in Nicaragua.
Size: 6×54, Toro
Wrapper: Darker milk chocolate, rough oily feel.
Construction: Boxpressed, squishy but still filled.
Cold draw: Hay and spices.
1st third: Starts with a roasted bread, lit matches and red chili pepper.
2nd third: Keeps the same.
Burn: Burns pretty quickly, firm ash but not so stable, white in colour.
Smoke: Voluminous white smoke, with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.
3rd third: Same all the way through, no changes.
Duration: 18:05-19:25, 1h 20min
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar and a mild strength profile. It’s good but nothing special.
Result: In my book this is an 86 point cigar.
