Gifted by Jean-Michel Louis, Brand Ambassador and In-house Belgian at De Los Reyes Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Shade Claro Connecticut.
Binder: Dominican Blend.
Filler: Dominican Criollo, Olor & Piloto Cubano.

Size: 6×58, Toro Gordo.

Wrapper: Nutty, silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light hay note.

1st third: Starts with a toasted hazelnut, medium roasted coffee, oakwood and toasted bread.

2nd third: Keeps previous flavours with a added white pepper spice.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: No changes from part 2.

Duration: 14:15-15:25, 1h 10 min.

Conclusion: A mild to medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 90 point cigar.
