From my own collection.
Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.
Information:
Wrapper: Cuba
Binder: Cuba
Filler: Cuba
Numbered black lacquered boîte nature box of 15 cigars, 5,000 boxes produced.
Box code Feb 15.
Size: 5.1×55, Robusto.
Wrapper: Reddish milk chocolate, oily and smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Cedarwood.
1st third: Starts with a soft note of buttered toasted bread, smooth hazelnut, cedarwood and whipped cream.
2nd third: I have to say it keeps the previous flavours but with a more nuance on the creamy notes, with a slight addition of vanilla bean.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable whiteish ash.
Smoke: Medium light smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.
3rd third: It keeps the flavour profile from part 2 but with a slight spice note of white pepper towards the last 2 cm.
Duration: 22:25-23:45, 1h 20 min.
Conclusion: A mild to medium bodied cigar with a mild strength profile. Well balanced flavours from top to bottom, with a light and easy draw no problems encountered during the smoke. If I had more I would smoke them, I guess I have to be content with smoking four of them since they where released.
Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
