Store bought at Brobergs.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Ecuador
Binder: Dominican Republic Olor
Filler: Dominican Republic Olor Seco, Piloto Seco, Piloto Viso, San Vicente Ligero & San Vicente Viso.
Limited to 40.000 cigars in boxes of 10.

Size: 5.5×48, Robusto.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Fairly firm with even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Hay.

1st third: Starts with a fresh cut oakwood, espresso, cinnamon and nutmeg.

2nd third: It steps up a level, introducing red pepper spice on the tongue but still keeping the great flavours from part 1.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable whiteish ash. You need to keep puffing on it frequently or else it will burn more on the inside, rather than the wrapper burning.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeping up the spice levels, but the flavours are well balanced until the very end.

Duration: 20:00-21:40, 1h 40min.

Conclusion: A medium to full bodied cigar with a full strength profile. For being a white label from Davidoff this was pretty surprising, wasn’t prepared on the high level of spice kicking in so early or at all. This sadly got a bit distracting from the other flavours, as it really kicked in as the first taste leaving the rest more in the background.

Result: In my book this is an 88 point cigar.
