Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.
Information:
Wrapper: Mexican San Andres
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua & Honduras
Size: 5×44, Corona.
Wrapper: Dark chocolate, oily and rough with small veins.
Construction: Fairly firm with some softspots with and uneven feel.
Cold draw: Dried fruits and hay.
1st third: Start with a black pepper, oakwood, walnut and 80% dark chocolate.
2nd third: Keeps it’s previous flavours steady.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a medium tight draw.
3rd third: Keeps the same from previous parts.
Duration: 19:20-20:40, 1h 20min.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a full strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
