Wrapper: Ecuadorian Shade Grown Connecticut
Binder: Kauai Shade Grown
Filler: Kauai Shade Grown
Size: 42×5, Laka (Corona).
Wrapper: Nutty, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Fairly firm when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Light floral note.
1st third: Starts with a toasted bread, espresso coffee, cinnamon and mahogany.
2nd third: Keeps a consistent flavour profile.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable whiteish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium cool feeling on the tongue and a medium light draw.
3rd third: Well balanced flavours until the very end.
Duration: 13:55-15:15, 1h 25min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Almost didn’t want to stop smoking this cigar, it was so well balanced without getting harsh at the end.
Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
