Gifted by Johan Sandström owner of Tucan Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Undisclosed
Binder: Undisclosed
Filler: Undisclosed
Factory: Tabacos de Costa Rica

Size: 5×56, Robusto.

Wrapper: Coffee bean, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light hay note.

1st third: Starts with a medium roasted coffee, 60% chocolate, butterscotch and oakwood.

2nd third: Gets a black pepper spice with a slight hay note. Otherwise it keeps it’s previous flavour profile.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and fairly stable whiteish ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps it’s overall flavours from part 2, looses it’s hay note and feels more like toasted bread.

Duration: 17:55-18:55, 1h.

Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 90 point cigar.
