Bought at Kind Cigars in 2014.
Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Jalapa Maduro
Size: 6×52, Toro.
Wrapper: Dark chocolate, rough with small veins.
Construction: Fairly firm and even when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Earthy and sweet.
1st third: Starts with a rich 70% dark chocolate note, dried fruits, caramel sweetness in the background and oakwood.
2nd third: A note of white pepper is added to the previous flavours.
Burn: Burns a little wonky with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a medium light draw.
3rd third: No changes in taste just a bit fuller in flavour.
Duration: 22:50-23:50, 1h.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
