Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.
Information: Released for the 20th Anniversary of Maya Selva Cigars. Limited to 20’000 cigars in boxes of 10 cigars each.
Tobacco from Honduras, Habano Jamastran and Azacualpa Olancho.
Size: 7×38, Lancero.
Wrapper: Light nutty wrapper, oily and silky-smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Pinewood and lemon peal.
1st third: Starts with a smooth milk chocolate and pine wood touch. A very creamy feel.
2nd third: Keeps it’s smooth and creamy flavours.
Burn: Sharp burn, firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Voluminous white smoke, with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light smooth draw.
3rd third: Just wonderful creamy and smooth milk chocolate, salty caramel and wood notes.
Duration: 19:35-20:55, 1h 20 min.
Conclusion: A mild to medium bodied cigar with a mild strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 94 point cigar.
