271. Omar Rodriguez Pre-Release Robusto

Gifted by Srecko Pavicevic, owner of Global Cigar.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information: Blind tasting cigar, got no info about the blend, just got who it was made by after I tried it.Tobacco from Nicaragua.

Size: 5.4×52, Robusto.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Milk chocolate, plums and dried fruit and caramel.

1st third: Starts of with a sweet biscuit note and milk chocolate. Hints of coffee beans and wood notes.

2nd third: Cacao, dried fruits and cinnamon.

Burn: Hasty but fairly sharp burn, white-ish firm and stable ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke, medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps it’s flavours from previous parts.

Duration: 18:45-19:45, 1h.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 90 point cigar.
