253. Blanco Liga Exclusiva De Familia Connecticut Shade Robusto

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information: Blanco & Plasencia families manufacture Blanco Cigars at one of Plasencia’s five factories located in Estelí, Nicaragua. This factory is one of the most opulent and beautiful factories in all of Central America and is commonly referred to as “The Cathedral” due to its large stained glass windows and exposed wood beam ceilings.
Tobacco from USA, Honduras and Nicaragua.

Size: 5×54, Robusto

Wrapper: Light almond, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel all over when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light spicy note of cedarwood.

1st third: Starts with a 60% darker milk chocolate, roasted coffee beans and toasted bread.

2nd third: The overall flavours gets increased from part one.

Burn: Burns fairly straight, firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps the same from the second part.

Duration: 20:20-21:30, 1h 10 min.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 88 point cigar.
