233. Por Larrañaga Secretos Edicion Regional España 2013

Private collection.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily but a little rough texture and tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel all over.

Cold draw: Cedarwood and hay.

1st third: Starts with a dark espresso note, followed by 60% milk chocolate and some wood in the background.

2nd third: Keeps the same flavours.

The burn: Burns hasty and fairly sharp with a white-ish stable and firm ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Gets a little sharper, definitely no chocolate notes anymore more of a coffee and dry wood.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a full strength profile. A okey cigar, wouldn’t buy it again, I mean for 5 years of aging it should have become much smoother but it’s still strong.

Result: In my book this is an 85 point cigar.
