186. Saga Short Tales Tomo II: Tales of the Land: Cotuí

Gifted by Jean-Michel Louis, Brand Ambassador and In-house Belgian at De Los Reyes Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and smooth feel with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel.

Cold draw: Hay and light wood.

1st third: Starts with a dark chocolate note, pine wood.

2nd third: There is a dark roasted coffee taste that steps in front of previous flavors.

The burn: Burns steady and sharp with a white stable and firm ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps it’s previous flavors.

Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a strong strength profile. Not really my kind of cigar.

Result: In my book this is an 85 point cigar.
