176. Principle Aviator Series Envoi

Gifted by Darren Cioffi owner of Principle Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and smooth feel with somewhat protruding veins.

Construction: Firm even feel.

Cold draw: Sandalwood wood.

1st third: Starts with a whipped cream coat, spicy sandalwood filler note that leaves a spice on the lips and a nutty finish in the background.

2nd third: Keeps the same flavors through the second part.

The burn: Burns steady and sharp with a white stable ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a cool feeling on the tounge and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps the previous flavours, but with a darker wood note taking over towards the very end.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Great late afternoon enjoyment. Think a mild whisky or a smooth cognac would fit this cigar perfectly.

Result: In my book this is an 92 point cigar.
