Store bought at Mellgrens Fine Tobacco.
Location: This review was made outdoors during a sunny and windy afternoon, by the ocean, whilst on holiday in the Algarve, Portugal. 27°C.
Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins and a shaggyfoot.
Construction: Firm but still a little giving when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Cedarwood, milk chocolate and a hint of lemongrass.
1st third: Starts with a perfect medium roasted cup of coffee with a aragostine al limone (Italian pastry with lemon cream inside).
2nd third: Keeps the same flavors from before but tiled down a bit to a creamy smooth feeling.
The burn: Burns fast and fairly sharp, some corrections but understandable with the wind. White-gray ash, it’s kinda flaky but stands firm.
Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a cool feeling on the tounge.
3rd third: The flavours keept them self’s in line all the way to the very end.
Conclusion: A very enjoyable medium bodied cigar. Perfect for an afternoon break.
Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
