118. Hiram & Solomon The Shriner Robusto

Gifted by a friend.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate brown wrapper, tiny veins with a oily smooth feel.

Construction: Firm but still giving feel.

Cold draw: Can’t feel any particular flavours.

1st third: Jet again an odd flavour, like broccoli or asparagus. It’s good but very odd.

2nd third: Cedarwood notes and previous parts taste.

The burn: Burns steady and sharp, firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Medium voluminous, medium heat.

3rd third: The wrapper started to unravel until it couldn’t stay on anymore.
Hint of mint.

Conclusion: Not my kind of cigar sadly and the fact that the wrapper unravelled sadly didn’t make it better. Construction wise it’s perfect, sadly the flavours didn’t cut it entirely for me.

Result: In my book this is a 86 point cigar.
