Size: 6.5×56, Gran Toro.
Wrapper: Milk chocolate brown, oily and smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: A little giving but even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Hay and herbs.
1st third: Starts with milk chocolate, digestive biscuits, light wood note, cardamom, cinnamon sugar and nutmeg.
2nd third: Continues on the creamy flavours previously mentioned.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and unstable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: Gets a bitter cacao note added to the mix, keeping the blend a bit darker towards the end.
Duration: 19:15-21:00, 1h 45min
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. While the majority of the smoking experience is creamy and smooth the end introduces a darkness kin to a classic Cuban.
Result: In my book this is a 91 point cigar.
