Wrapper: Coffee bean brown, oily and smooth with small veins.
Construction: Fairly soft but even when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Cedarwood.
1st third: Starts with a dark roasted coffee, natural almonds, black cherries and dark cedarwood.
2nd third: There is a irritating spice in the back of the throat, otherwise unchanged flavours.
Burn: Burns hasty and fairly sharp with a firm and stable gray-ish ash.
Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: Notes of roasted chestnuts added to the mix.
Duration: 16:55-17:45, 50min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. I’d say it’s probably the most interesting blend from Steffo in a couple of years. If you like black cherries this cigar is perfect for you, because that’s the main flavour I’m getting.
Result: In my book this is a 90 point cigar.
