Wrapper: Dark chocolate brown, oily and smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Fairly firm and even feel when lightly squeezed. Soft boxpressed.

Cold draw: Earthy sweetness, oakwood and pepper.

1st third: Starts with a 70% dark chocolate, rye bread, pepper & ginger spice mix and earthy sweetness.

2nd third: Notes of peat gets introduced towards the end of the second third, otherwise unchanged.

Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a warm feeling on the tongue with a medium light draw.

3rd third: Unchanged from previous parts.

Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium to full strength profile. It’s a spicier version of the regular Black Series II pretty much, very enjoyable smoke.

Result: In my book this is a 91 point cigar.
