Location: This review was made outdoors during a windy rainy afternoon with 11C, 88% humidity and 6 m/s wind.

Size: 7×50, Churchill.

Wrapper: Milk Chocolate brown, smooth texture with small veins.

Construction: Fairly firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Cedarwood.

1st third: Starts with a rich dark chocolate, espresso coffee and oakwood base, with sparks of cinnamon, nutmeg and licorice spice held together in a gingerbread sweetness.

2nd third: Fairly unchanged from the first part, keep a well balanced flavour profile still with a rich complexity at hand. 2/3 in to the second third notes of orange and clove appears as a good compliment to the other very christmasy flavours.

Burn: Burns sharp and hasty with a firm and stable white-ish ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue with a light draw.

3rd third: The blend keeps consistently interesting, orange forward notes and I’m getting a homemade buttery flavour in the background and feeling on the tongue with the after taste. Otherwise the previous flavours stay until the very end.

Duration: 14:35-15:55, 1h 20 min.

Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. A well balanced complex blend, that reminds me a lot of christmasy flavours. It’s definitely something to cherish infront of an open fire with some calm music.

Result: In my book this is an 95 point cigar.
