Wrapper: Milk chocolate smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Hay.
1st third: Starts with a rich dark chocolate note together with buttery shortbread and candid almond with a light wood note in the background.
2nd third: The wood note present themselves a bit more in the second part and I’d say it similar to a pinewood. Otherwise it keeps very consistent. Very tiny amount of spicy far far back in the background, perhaps it presents itself in the final part?
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and a bit unstable white-ish ash for the most part but the exterior ash feels a tad bit flaky as it easily blows away with a bit of wind.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and with a light draw.
3rd third: Actually no changes from previous parts not even the spice creeped its way out.
Duration: 15:55-17:20, 1h 25 min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. A very enjoyable cigar, perfectly balanced and didn’t give me any problems during the entire time. All though I would have loved a bit more variation.
Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
