Wrapper: Almond, silky smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Fairly firm and even when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Hay and dried fruits.
1st third: Starts with a charged cedar match, walnuts, cacao and light coffee hints.
2nd third: Keeps the same with a hint of pepper in the background.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium cool heat feel on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: No predominant changes, it mostly mellowed down towards the end.
Duration: 15:45-16:45, 1h.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a mild to medium strength profile. I enjoyed it, definitely different from any other Connecticut I’ve had before. I was missing a creamy element, but overall a enjoyable cigar.
Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
