Blanco & Plasencia families manufacture Blanco Cigars at one of Plasencia’s five factories located in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Size: 6×54, Salomones.
Wrapper: Light almond, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel all over when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Dried fruits and earthy sweetness.
1st third: Starts with a toasted bread, cinnamon and earthy sweetness.
2nd third: Hints of oakwood begins to appear still with the earthy and toasted bread and some chocolate.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white ash.
Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.
3rd third: Keeps it’s flavours from part 2.
Duration: 20:10-21:30, 1h 20min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 90 point cigar.
