Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua
Origin: Nicaragua
Factory: Plasencia Cigars S.A.
Box: Sold in 10 count boxes.
Release: 2020
Availability: Regular Production.
Size: 6×60, Gordo (Hexagon pressed)
Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Cedarwood.
1st third: Starts with a creamy milk chocolate, cedarwood, nutmeg and cinnamon.
2nd third: I’m getting hazelnuts, pine nuts and cold brew coffee added to the mix. The creamy milk chocolate gets a notch darker like a earthy cacao powder.
Burn: Burns sharp but hasty with a firm and stable whiteish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and with a light draw.
3rd third: No changes from part 2, it just keeps going consistently.
Duration: 13:45-14:55, 1h 10min.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Very pleasant cigar, with a good complexity in flavours, didn’t leave me wanting for more as cigars this size usually do. The shape definitely makes it more approachable.
Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
