Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.
Information:
Wrapper: Broadleaf Maduro
Binder: Nicaraguan Jalapa.
Filler: USA Pennsylvania & Nicaraguan Condega, Estelí Double Ligero
Size: 6.5×50, Toro (Dobles).
Wrapper: Dark chocolate, oily and smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Hay and ground coffee beans.
1st third: Starts with a 80% dark chocolate, ground coffee beans, toasted bread and oakwood.
2nd third: The flavours keeps on a consistent well balanced level as in the first part.
Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable whiteish ash.
Smoke: Medium light smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.
3rd third: Added black pepper spice otherwise
Duration: 16:40-18:10, 1h 30 min.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
