Gifted by a friend.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens Fine Tobacco’s cigar lounge.

Information:
Wrapper: Connecticut Shade
Binder: Dominican Republic Cuban Seed
Filler: Dominican Republic Cuban Seed
Factory: Tabacalera Arturo Fuente

Size: 8.5×52, Double Corona.

Wrapper: Nutty, oily and smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Fairly firm when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Hay, cedarwood and white pepper.

1st third: Starts with a lightly toasted bread, salted almonds and light wood.

2nd third: No changes.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and fairly stable white ash.

Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.

3rd third: No changes at all from the very beginning.

Duration: 19:20-21:40, 2h 20 min.

Conclusion: A mild bodied cigar with a mild strength profile. A very uneventful cigar, still well balanced and good taste but it didn’t make me long for another soon.

Result: In my book this is an 87 point cigar.
