Information:
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Maduro.
Binder: Nicaraguan.
Filler: Nicaraguan.
The tobacco is aged for 10 years in bales and 2 years in bourbon barrels.
Size: 5×56, Robusto.
Wrapper: Dark chocolate, oily and smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Hay and a sweet note.
1st third: Starts with a oak wood note, toasted bread and some sweetness.
2nd third: Light spice note on the lips otherwise the same as before.
Burn: Burns sharp with a stable and firm white ash.
Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue and a light draw.
3rd third: Keeps it’s notes from part 2.
Duration: 17:40-18:40, 1h.
Conclusion: A medium to full bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 87 point cigar.
