Wrapper: Nicaraguan Sun Grown
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Aged minimum of 6 years, then fermented for 14 months in a bourbon barrel.
Size: 5×56, Soft Boxed Pressed Robusto.
Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Fairly firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Hay.
1st third: Starts with a light wood note, white pepper and hay.
2nd third: No changes.
Burn: Burns hasty with a fairly sharp burn. Stable and firm whiteish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat on the tongue and a light draw.
3rd third: No changes.
Duration: 16:20-17:20, 1h.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. It totally flatlined, no excitement what so ever.
Result: In my book this is an 87 point cigar.
