352. Sans Pareil Petite Corona Blue

Gifted by Martin Nelson, owner of Kind Cigars.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information:
Blue- The wrapper is a Dominican Criollo ’98 Elite Selection.

The other main component that all Sans Pareil cigars must have is Dominican Piloto Elite Selection.

Size: 42×4, Petite Corona.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and silky-smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Coffee beans, earthy notes and manure.

1st third: Starts with a bitter note, like a strong espresso bitterness, earthy and a little wood note in the background.

2nd third: Gets a little smoother, but still with the previous flavours.

Burn: Burns sharp, with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Medium voluminous smoke with a warm feeling on the tongue and sharp notes of the back of the mouth. The draw is light.

3rd third: Ramps it back up to where it was in the beginning.

Duration: 20:20-21:00, 40 min.

Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium to full strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 88 point cigar.
