Sponsored by J.C.Newman Cigars.
Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.
Wrapper: Light nutty brown, oily and silky smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm but still a little giving when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Light wood notes.
1st third: Starts with a nutty sweetness and a cinnamon aftertaste with a wood finish.
2nd third: Keeps the same flavors but with a creamy smooth feeling surrounding them.
The burn: Burns hasty and sharp with a gray-ish stable and firm ash.
Smoke: Light smoke with a cool feeling on the tounge and a light draw.
3rd third: Keeps it’s flavours from previous parts. Otherwise consistent experience all trough.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. This would match perfectly with a unsweetened rum, a smooth cognac or a hot cup of chocolate.
Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
