Gifted by Maya Selva Cigars.
Location: This review was made outdoors during an sunny and windy afternoon, with 12°C.
Wrapper: Milk chocolate, silky smooth with tiny veins.
Construction: Firm even feel.
Cold draw: Milk chocolate, light wood and hay.
1st third: Starts with a nutty, creamy wiener melange coffee note. There is also a note of wood in the background.
2nd third: In the second part there are hints of a little spicy wood. Like a sandalwood but also not as dry. Otherwise it keeps the flavours from part one.
The burn: Burns steady and sharp with a white stable but a little flaky ash.
Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a cool feeling on the tounge and a light draw.
3rd third: Keeps the same nutty coffee flavours from before all the way through.
Conclusion: A good afternoon cigar when you want to enjoy a cup of café au lait with your favourite French pastry. I would go for a pain au chocolate.
Result: In my book this is an 89 point cigar.
