107. Plasencia Alma del Campo Travesía

Store bought at Mellgrens Fine Tobacco.

Location: This review was made indoors, in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel.

Cold draw: Light notes pencil wood.

1st third: Cedar wood, dark chocolate and a touch wheat.

2nd third: Medium roasted coffee and the same cedar wood note as before.

The burn: Burns sharp, white ash, firm and stable.

Smoke: Voluminous, white smoke. Medium heat.

3rd third: Keeps the same smooth cedar woo, dark chocolate and medium roasted coffee notes, all the way to the end.

Conclusion: Medium bodied, well balanced cigar, very enjoyable. I think this would match perfectly with a cup of hot chocolate.

Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
