Wrapper: Coffee bean brown, oily and rough texture with small veins.
Construction: Firm and fairly even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Oakwood.
1st third: Starts with roasted hazelnuts, allspice and ginger, syrup loaf and oakwood.
2nd third: Slight savoury note added.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white ash. But when it falls it flakes everywhere.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: Earthy dark chocolate and cured meaty savoury notes in this final part.
Duration: 16:45-18:15, 1h 30min.
Conclusion: A full bodied cigar with a medium to full strength profile. Its a good smoking experience but nothing too exciting.
Result: In my book this is a 89 point cigar.
