Wrapper: Coffee bean brown, a little course texture with small veins.
Construction: Firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Oakwood and earthy.
1st third: Starts with oakwood, earthy and walnuts.
2nd third: A black pepper and lemon zest added.
Burn: Burns hasty and fairly sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium heat feel on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: While unchanged in flavour profile everything gets a bit more intense.
Duration: 20:10-21:30, 1h 20min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. It’s not very complex, but it’s heavy and dark in the taste.
Result: In my book this is a 88 point cigar.
