This list is composed of my top 25 ranked cigars based on scores given in the 100 reviews I did this year (2024). But as you’ll notice many have similar scores, so they were ranked based on the level of enjoyment I got out of the bunch. I hope this list will bring some interest for you to try these cigars out if you haven’t already or you’ll just be happy to see a cigar you like on here.
This list is composed by one person (me), if you want a list compiled by a broader scale of people I suggest you check Cigar Journal’s Top 25 Cigars of the Year 2024. That list will be published in January 2025, where I’m part of the blindtasting panel and we decide our choices based on all cigars we tried that has been released the past 2 years. Currently we are 81 people from around the world, giving scores blind. As a reviewer I have to be honest where I get my cigars from, so that you can decide for yourself how you want to interpret my choices. I pride myself of being a very outspoken person who tells the truth no matter my connections with a brand. In this list I bought 30 myself, 30 were gifted or traded by friends and 40 was gifted by brands (either at Intertabac or sent/given in person). The information is stated in the reviews but also in the list below. Due to my reviews not being done blindly there always might be a risk of a subconscious bias opinion based on the looks, previous knowledge of a brand or previous experiences I’ve had with the brand in the past. When I make my reviews I try to have the utmost minimal information available of the product, not to be influenced. All information gathering is done after a score is given. No prices are given in the reviews or this list as it shouldn’t be a factor in how good a cigar is.
Out of my 946 cigar reviews done so far and all going forward I will always be honest with my opinions regardless if I have any partnerships or friendships with any brands. Up until this point I’ve had no paid partnerships, ads or generated any income from my reviews or this website. If a brand decides to gift me any products to try and share, I’ll always state that. I WILL NEVER give a higher score due to a brand pushing their products, YOU WILL ALWAYS get my honest opinions and transparent reviews. This website is purely a passion project for me.
