Wrapper: Milk chocolate brown, smooth texture with small protruding veins.
Construction: Firm and even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Toasted bread, light wood and wheat.
1st third: Starts with toasted bread, popcorn & chestnuts.
2nd third: Notes of peanuts added, otherwise unchanged.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and not so stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium cool feeling on the tongue with a medium light draw.
3rd third: Dark toasted bread, white pepper and oakwood on the palette.
Duration: 15:55-18:55, 3h.
Conclusion: A mild bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Well balanced with a not so complex body, perfect for a long conversation where you don’t want to focus on that smoking.
Result: In my book this is a 91 point cigar.
