Size: 7.5×38, Lancero.
Wrapper: Milk chocolate brown, coarse texture with tiny veins.
Construction: A little giving but even feel when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Old cedarwood.
1st third: Starts with a creamy cappuccino, cedarwood, raw almonds, cacoa powder and cinnamon.
2nd third: While it continues on the same smooth journey a slight white pepper spice dancing on the tongue.
Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable white-ish ash.
Smoke: Voluminous smoke with a medium cool feeling on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: While unchanged from previous parts it’s enjoyable until the nub.
Duration: 16:00-17:10, 1h 10min.
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile. Beautifully constructed Lancero, with perfect draw and a well balanced smooth smoking experience.
Result: In my book this is a 92 point cigar.
